A little about Erica...
Erica's love for dance began at the early age of 3 years old dancing to Spice Girls in front of the tv. ;) A passion began stirring from that point forward. In middle school, Erica took on the role of dance coach in her hometown of Henryville. She always knew her dream would be to one day open a dance and fitness studio. She landed her first job as a group exercise instructor at 17 years old and never looked back. As she traveled the world with her husband and the United States Navy, she pursued a degree in business, as well as health and wellness, all the while gaining as much knowledge in her chosen fields as possible. Her experience from teaching and managing fitness centers prepared her for this Soul Fitt journey. In June 2015, God opened the doors to Soul Fitt. Her passion now is to help others find total wellness, physically, financially, and most importantly spiritually.

Meet Mary....
Introducing Carlye...
Carlye teaches both HIIT and Boot Camp at Soul Fitt. Carlye is a certified personal trainer and an excellent fitness role model.
"My obsession with exercise and wellbeing runs deep in my blood. Growing up I had the ultimate example in my parents. They are dedicated and extremely strict with their health. My father started taking me to the gym when I was just a little girl; back then I wasn’t doing much besides getting in the way I’m sure. The diet in our home would make any nutritionist proud and physical activity was always important. Sports became a huge part of my life, my true passion was for volleyball and tennis. I never truly understood how great I had it until my first semester of college. Almost immediately a plethora of temptations came my way, from the convenience of fast-food to the weekend drinks, I had it all. I quickly realized how tough it could be to keep healthy habits in such an environment. This is why I made the decision to become a personal trainer and help people become healthier, happier and feel better about themselves. My hope is that I can inspire and motivate everyone I meet to start or continue such a lifestyle! I look forward to meeting you and thanks for giving me the opportunity to have such an incredible job!" |
John the rock star...
John is the POUND instructor here at Soul Fitt. He began his journey to a healthier, more active lifestyle several years ago. At that time, he was nearing 320 pounds and wearing a size 48 pants. He was leading the life of a self described couch potato and junk food junkie. He has had a long hilly road with lots of ups and downs, and every hill gets a little easier than the last one to climb. He has been a cycling instructor for a few years at the Scott County YMCA. He became a POUND pro in November 2016 where he now gets to rock, rock, rock! Come check out one of his fun-filled classes.
