Hence the reason why we start to feel achy and just flat out horrible when we become inactive. Our bodies were never intended to sit still all day long. But the reality of today's society is that many of us sit at a desk all day long. If this is you, don't worry. We are here to help! We believe in making fitness fun. You have to find something you enjoy, or you will not stick with it. Maybe that's hiking with your family? Zumba class? Playing on the monkey bars with your kids? Find things that you enjoy that get your body moving, and do it! We have given you some options below. Exercise is a gift! Be grateful that you can move today. We take that for granted far too often. If your body is healthy enough to move, then get moving! There may come a day when you no longer can move well. Don't waste this blessing. Jesus paid a very high cost for your body. He put His body through death on the cross. Our bodies are on loan to us from God and He wants us to take care of them. For the beginner....
If you haven't exercised for a while, start here. At this level, we will commit to 3 days of focused exercise, 3 days of light activity, and 1 day of total rest. Choose 3 different videos below and schedule them as an appointment with a very important person! Or you can always jump onto our Soul Fitt Community Facebook page and check out our live streamed classes for the week. You have to decide and commit that you are going to get these 3 workouts in, no matter what. We believe in muscle confusion, so mix up your workouts. If you do the same thing every day, you are eventually going to either get bored or stop getting results. On at least 1 of your 3 workouts, get some strength training in through our Sculpt and Tone class. On the 3 days you don't do a video workout, get some type of movement in. It doesn't have to be focused, intense exercise. But you still need to move. Take a walk with your dog. Hike with your family. And then rest on the 7th day. God created our bodies to need rest, so allow at least one day per week to rest and recover your body.
The next level...
If you are entering into month 2, you are ready for the next level. At this level, we will commit to 4 days of focused exercise, 2 days of light activity, and 1 day of total rest. Pick 2 cardio workouts, and 2 Sculpt & Tones below for your 4 days of movement. Or join in our live FB classes to work out with our instructors!
For the long haul....
By the start of month 3 in your health journey, you should be at this level. At this level, we will commit to 5 days of focused exercise, 1 day of light activity, and 1 day of total rest. Pick 5 videos below or join in our live FB classes this week! An ideal workout week will involve cardio, strength, and stretching. For example: Monday: Step Ball Tuesday: Sculpt & Tone Wednesday: Soul Funk Thursday: Yoga Friday: Sculpt & Tone Saturday: Cardio Kick Sunday: Rest
STEP BALL You can do this class with or without a step. Without one, simply just use a mat in place of a step and step onto it. Keep a 2 lb weight close!
HOLY YOGA #2 Grab your mat, clear your mind, and stretch your muscles. Leave this class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
SCULPT & TONE Grab some dumbbells and a mat. Let's strengthen those muscles together!

STEP BALL (42 min cardio) This workout can be done without any equipment, but if you are looking to take it to the next level, you can purchase a step from Amazon or Dick's Sporting Goods and a light 2 pound ball or weight.
SCULPT & TONE It's time to build some strength! For this one, grab a heavy dumbbell (8-12 lb.) and a mat.
SOUL FUNK A fun filled cardio dance class that is sure to make you sweat!
HOLY YOGA (44 min stretch) This class is perfect for a mid-week unwind. Take some time to stretch out the muscles, relax the mind, and rejuvenate the soul.
CARDIO KICK (52 min cardio) Be ready to sweat over the next 50 minutes. This class is a great way to punch and kick out some stress, all while getting the heart pumping.
